Pocket Poser is a 72 page 11cm x 15cm unique hand book that helps you pose a model when she is in front of your camera. What I have found is once some Photographers put their model in front of there camera they get lost for pose ideas. This book is a tool to help you through any difficulties you might have. All the model illastration in this book are Photos converted into Sketchers, so the poses are achievable, no concepts. For examples of these illastration look at the header of this page or view our Book Extracts page. This is book best keeped in your camera bag so never be lost for pose ideas.
HOW TO USE THIS BOOKLET
Whilst The Pocket Poser depicts a female model, it is very useful for male models. A handy way to use The Pocket Poser is to be up front and show the model the pose you want her to perform. This works well especially with inexperienced models. Then you can make variations to highlight models best angles.
ABOUT AUTHOR My photographic interest began in 1987, when I purchased my first camera. As my enthusiasm grew I read many books and magazines on photography and experimented with the ideas I picked up. As I progressed from black and white to colour I peppered my field and studio experience with a string of formal photography courses. After being invited to teach I specialized in digital photography and computer enhancement. Then I landed a job with a major newspaper. After completing a year at business college I began my parallel commercial photography business which continues to this day with my newspaper photography.
